1/2 rødløg i tynde både

1 spsk. olivenolie

Sæt ærterne i blød i koldt vand natten over og kog dem derefter møre i saltet vand. Mos de varme ærter med presset hvidløg, spidskommen, salt og peber samt citronsaft. Rør olien i og hæld dippen i en lille skål. Pynt med ganske tynde både af rødløg og dryp lidt olivenolie på. Server med brød til.

BeeStifado

This recipe took a bit of hunting down. There are a few recipes on the 'net for it, but they all differ quite a bit - some have red wine, some have white, I even found one with no wine in it! Greek restaurants keep their Stifado recipe a closely guarded secret and Greek cookery books are thin on the ground. So this is a combination of the best of all the recipes I found and works great! Preparation time: 30 mins / Cooking time: at least 3 hours Ingredients The following recipe will feed 6 hungry guests!

  • 1.5 Kgs Stewing or chuck steak
  • 100g plain flour
  • At least 1/2 bottle of good, rich red wine
  • 2 Tbsp (30ml) red wine vinegar
  • 3 Cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
  • 800g baby onions or shallots
  • Olive oil for frying
  • 1 cinnamon stick, broken in half
  • 3 Bay leaves
  • 1 tsp ground allspice
  • 2 Tbsp tomato puree
  • 200ml beef stock (made with oxo / stock cube)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper


  • Mindst ½ flaske god rødvin
  • 2 tsk. rødvinseddike (30ml) red wine vinegar
  • 3 fed hvidløg i tynde skiver
  • 800g babyløg eller skalotteløg
  • 1 kanelstang brækket i halve
  • 3 lauerbær
  • 1 tsk stødt allehånde
  • 2 spsk koncentreret tomat pure
  • 200 ml okse boullion

Preheat the oven to 160 deg C / Gas mark 3 Cut your beef into large chunks, the bigger the better, but around 2" is about right. Season the flour with plenty of black pepper and a bit of salt, and coat the chunks of beef. In a fairly hot pan, heat the olive oil and when hot, fry your chunks of beef until sealed on all sides and slighty browned. These can be done in batches of a few at a time if required. Put into a large casserole or a pot with a lid when done. Add some more oil to the pan and fry the onions (chopped in half if they're too big) over a medium heat until they start to brown - about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and fry for a further minute. Put this into the casserole with the beef. Pour the wine into the pan, add the red wine vinegar, cinnamon, ground allspice and heat until it just begins to boil. Add this to the casserole along with the beef stock and the bayleaves. Stir in the tomato puree. Put the lid onto your brimming casserole and whack it into the oven. Grab yourself the other half bottle of wine and marinate your throat and stomach in it. Occasionally disturb yourself to give the stifado a stir. It will take at least 3 hours to cook, but 4 will be better and 5 won't hurt it! When it's done, the meat should be very tender and the sauce nice and thick. Traditionally, this dish is served with crust bread to mop up the gravy, but it's also great with a few veg and my great rosemary potatoes.

Siden 1945 har S., der allerede tidligere havde udført en Del Byvaaben og lign. heraldiske Arbejder, været Vaabenmaler ved det Kgl. Ordenskapitel. Han har forfattet en Afhandling om Heraldik

Nice short url's

I got the short/pretty url's working by following the description from:

I have one.com as host, and the section Solution without alias works on one.com. Below is my modified version showing how I added pretty url's to http://www.yggenyk.dk

My site http://www.yggenyk.dk is in ~/web_root/wiki

Using this .htaccess in my http://www.yggenyk.dk directory, I was able to use short URLs and the redirection.

My Main_Page is renamed to Home. If your's is called Main_Page replace Home with Main_Page below.

My site is hosted at one.com.

Rename Main page

Display any page, say, the main page. Then go to the URL in your browser's URL input line and replace the text "Main_Page" with "Mediawiki:mainpage". It should look like: http://www.yggenyk.dk/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Mainpage

Then click the "go" button (or hit "enter" on your keyboard) to display that page. You can then click the edit tab... (actually, if you just click on the link I just pasted here to your wiki, that will do it too).

Aside: This is one way to create a new page as well - just replace the displayed page name with the name of a new page and try to display that - MediaWiki will show a that the page doesn't exist and offer to let you edit that to create it.

NVIDIA drivere for NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M

If you go to NVIDIA's homepage and try to look for a driver for a Dell Lattitude D620 with 'NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M' graphic card you won't find anything that can be installed. If you try a driver for 'NVIDIA Quadro NVS' it wont install. If you try to look under beta drivers, you won't get any luck either, but might end up on this page:

And from here you can install an Active X component that detects your type of graphic card and suggests a driver. If you try that it returns the following message:

The GeForce Go mobile GPU use drivers that have been customized to support hot key functions, power management functions, lid close and suspend/resume behavior that are normally found in notebooks. The reference desktop graphic drivers that are provided by NVIDIA on our driver downloads page do not include these custom features. For this reason, the NVIDIA Forceware NVIDIA graphics display drivers will not install on most Geforce and Quadro family of mobile GPU's. Some newer laptops have been designed to work with our drivers. For more information click here.

No luck here too. Dell provides a driver from their download page, and if you are running Windows Vista x64 'Windows Update' provides another one.
