Synchronization problems with Windows Mobile 5 and Windows XP
If your Pocket PC fails to sync and the error code on the on the Pocket PC is 0x86000209 select Help - Detect and Repair in Outlook 2003. This will fix the problem.
Synchronization problems with Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 for Windows Vista
If you are having problems synchronizing your device with Windows Vista or Windows Vista x64 try the following.
- Uninstall - Windows Mobile Device Center Driver update
- Uninstall - Windows Mobile Device Center
- Download and install: Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 for Windows Vista from Microsoft. There is both a 32-bit and a 64-bit version.
